Can you tell I'm a procrastinator? Ha ha! I have wanted to do a blog from the beginning of this pregnancy and have honestly just been too lazy to do it before this! But I'm starting it now...better late than never, right? Since the pea is already halfway done cooking I'll catch everyone up on the first half of this miraculous event.
October 30, 2008- (4 w 2d) Got 2 undeniable pink lines on an infamous test!
November 14, 2008- (6w 3d) Broke the good news to our parents.
December 2, 2008- (9w 0d) Saw our little pea for the first time on u/s!
January 2, 2009- (13w 3d) Excited extended family with the news of our addition.
January 6, 2009- (14w 0d) First visit with high-risk OB and found out about exposure to parvo virus.
January 27, 2009- (17w 0d) Found out that I have placenta previa.
February 3, 2009- (18w 0d) Felt the pea KICKING for the first time! What an awesome thing!
WOW! That was a long list!
I've been feeling great the whole pregnancy...don't hate me! I know how incredibly blessed I am! I was just nauseous for a few days in the very beginning and extremely exhausted. My second trimester has wonderful (with the exception of finding out about the parvo exposure and previa) but have been tired still. I think I'm going to be feeling wiped out until the very last day because housing a human can be tiring! Well, I think that's about it for the first post. I just thank God every single day for the magnificent husband I have and for the precious little being I have growing inside of me.
